Sophia Cobo is a dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker with a focus on contemporary dance. She began her training at the age of 3 in Anzoátegui, Venezuela, studying ballet at Academia Sol in Lechería until she was 10. After relocating to the U.S., she expanded her dance repertoire, training in various styles and deepening her skills at Stars Dance Studio in Miami, FL. During this time, she also discovered a passion for filmmaking, which led her to explore the intersection of dance and film.

In high school, Sophia began teaching and choreographing, bringing her works to the stage—a practice she continues today. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she collaborates with world-class faculty and choreographers from the concert dance industry. Sophia is also developing new film projects that blend her choreography with collaborations from dancers and musicians.
